Pump or pump drilling

The most popular pumping method for drilling water wells. The scheme of its organization involves the selection of a future well and the arrangement of two pits near the designated place, in the furthest of which water is specially poured, and in the near one, the soil settles.

Next to the water pit is a pump, through the hose, which sucks water from it and feeds it into the drilling rig. Thus, the soil is pre-softened and allows you to quickly reach the aquifer.

As soon as the well has reached the required depth, a polyethylene or polypropylene pipe with a meter-high tip filter in the form of holes drilled by it and a mesh with small cells made of stainless steel wound on top of them is inserted into it.

Hammer and rope drilling

The simplest, universal, but slowest way to drill a well with your own hands is shock-rope.

The universality of this method allows its use on soils of any hardness, replacing only the main projectile.

So, clay soils require a piece of massive metal pipe with a beveled cutting edge at the end, for sand or fine gravel a burl spoon or chipper is more suitable, with a spring-loaded valve welded at the end, and a drill bit on rock formations.

Secondly, the well must be protected from external negative impact. So, it is mandatory to install a surface bunker or a well house, which will not allow rain water, livestock or foreign objects to enter the well.
