Storage rules

Proper storage of weapons is due to the protection of loved ones and the possible theft of valuable property. There are 9 rules for storing a gunshot:

• Store the gun in a safe in your own home.
• Weapons must be guarded safely (to be discharged, disassembled, cleaned, on a guard).
• Store cartridges in a separate container.
• Capsules and gunpowder must be protected separately.
• Devices that create high temperatures should not be near ammunition.

• Upon receipt (finding) of the “left”, unregistered weapon on you, it is necessary to hand it over to the police.

The thoroughness and correct implementation of all requirements is checked by employees of the internal affairs bodies. They control the availability of a gun permit, how the weapon is placed and its presence during inspection.

Violation of the requirements will lead to administrative (and maybe criminal) liability.

How to make a safe do-it-yourself

The hunter, in order to make a safe for a gun with his own hands, needs to perform the following steps:

• Safe design;
• Preparation of materials;
• Assembly and installation of a safe.

When designing, the height of the weapon is taken into account, while the safe will be approximately 10 cm higher. The depth at the weapons cabinet is half a meter, and the width is calculated from the number of guns (30 cm per unit).

Preparation of materials includes:

• their selection (metal type, type and number of locks, number of loops, screws and bolts),
• provision of tools for work (welding machine, screwdriver, saw - grinder),
• processing of materials for assembly (saw metal sheets into pieces of the required size, assemble boxes under cartridges).

After all the preliminary work, the safe is assembled directly. It is carried out by welding prepared sheets through the corners. Place the welding on the inside of the gun cabinet.

Weld the hinges and hang the doors. Embed locks in the doorway. Use bolts and screws to attach the resulting safe to the floor and walls.

The internal storage space is often upholstered with cloth so that the guns do not scratch on the metal.
