There are a fairly large number of very different devices for fishing, however, they can be divided into two broad varieties:

Beginners, as a rule, usually join fishing in the summertime, and the float fishing rod is a classic for them. Making it yourself is not at all difficult.
DIY float fishing rods
A fishing rod refers to the so-called fly fishing gear. It is ideal for fishing at short distances from the fisherman.
In order to make it yourself you will need: a rod from four to six meters long, two fishing lines (one thinner, the other a little thicker), a sinker, a float and a hook.
Start working on a fishing rod with a snap. Fasten the sinker to the main fishing line (its diameter should be 0.16-0.22 mm), then the float.
The load must be checked; for this, the equipment is lowered into the pond. The float should be completely under water, except for the antenna that protrudes on its surface. If the balance is maintained correctly, a loop from the double knot is made at the very end of the fishing line.
The next step is to leash. First, a hook is attached to the fishing line (it is 0.05-0.1 mm thinner than the main one in diameter). On the other side of the leash (about thirty, maximum fifty centimeters), make a small loop.
Now you need to connect it with the main fishing line. The total length of the equipment usually does not exceed the size of the rod, or is slightly longer than it, but not more than 50 cm.
Making a fishing rod
The feeder fishing rod is very popular in our time, because thanks to it you can fish in various types of water bodies.
Making it is somewhat more difficult than a float, but with a little effort, almost anyone can do it.
For the manufacture of the feeder you need: a special fishing rod for the feeder, a reel with a spool, fishing line with a total length of one hundred to one hundred and fifty meters, a feeder, an anti-twist tube, another fishing line for a leash, a hook.
First you need to carefully connect all the elements of the rod together, while paying special attention to the access rings - they should line up on one axis.
Then the reel seat is completed, for this the main fishing line is passed through all the rings of the rod. A loop is made at the very end of the main fishing line, after which it is connected to the reel.
Carefully turning and rotating the handle, the line is rewound onto the spool. A loop is also made from the other end of the fishing line, a snap is attached to it. The most common way is to fasten with an anti-twist tube.

After that, the fishing line must be passed through the resulting structure, immediately putting the locking beads and making loops. At the bend point of the tube, a feeder must be attached, after which the main fishing line is connected to the snap. The feeder rod is ready!
Self assembly spinning
It is easy to independently assemble and spinning. As a rule, it includes the following parts:
- spinning rod;
- inertialess coil;
- braid or monolesk;
- leash;
- bait.
First, collect the spinning rod, then attach a reel to it, stretch the fishing line and wind it on the spool.
The leash is fixed using any fishing knot known to you, after which a bait is attached to it. If you do not plan to use a leash - mount the lure directly on the fishing line.
Self-made gear for winter fishing
For fishing in the winter most often use several options of gear, almost all of them can be made with their own hands.
Mormysh fishing rod is a traditional and widespread fishing gear under ice. This tackle includes: a fishing rod for winter fishing with a reel, a monofilament, a bobber and fishing hook with hook.
